I am interested in the heterogeneity of the symptomatic manifestations of depression and the psychological processes responsible for the development and maintenance of this disorder. I am a psychotherapist and I study the effects of the use of Behavioral Activation Treatment tools (activity monitoring, activity schedules, goal-oriented activity planning, work on important living areas and values) on depressive symptomatology, cognitive processes (e.g., mental rumination, interpretation biases, attentional biases) and behavioral processes (e.g., experiential avoidance) that maintain the depressive disorder.
