My research activities focus on the psychobiological and cognitive mechanisms of drug addiction and more particularly alcohol dependence. Two lines of research are developed:

  • Study of cognitive biases in the development and maintenance of drug addiction in humans, especially through the use of virtual reality.
  • Study of the psychopharmacological bases of drug dependence through various animal models of addiction (e.g. locomotor sensitization, place conditioning, self-administration).
